ALUMNI ID CARD BENEFITS
Members of the Mary Washington alumni family are invited to enjoy a variety of discounts and benefits offered by various University departments and partners. We encourage you to take advantage of all that Mary Washington has to offer. Many discounts and benefits require you to present an alumni identification card. In order to obtain a card, fill out the request form here. The identification cards do not expire. There is a one-time fee of $10, which covers the cost of card production. Please allow 10 business days for processing. Cards will be mailed to your home address on file. A full listing of alumni benefits is below.

HYATT PLACE FREDERICKSBURG Mary Washington Alumni enjoy a discount rate at the Hyatt Place, conveniently located in Eagle Village. Currently, the Alumni rate is $102 and is subject to availability. In order to book this rate, alumni guests should go to the Hyatt website, select their travel dates, and enter code 51847 in the corporate code section (drop down menu).
UMW LIBRARY UMW Alumni may purchase an annual Guest Patron membership to borrow library materials from UMW Libraries. The fee for a Guest Patron Card is $15.00. Individuals will be asked to show either their UMW Alumni Card or UMW Library card and Photo ID when borrowing library materials. The check-out limit is fifty books and the loan period is for thirty-five days with three renewals. This card does not entitle the holder to Interlibrary Loan Services, Document Delivery services, entry into Simpson Library for study hall hours or off-campus database access. Audiovisual materials and electronic equipment may not be checked out. The UMW Libraries Guest Patron card is not transferable. Only circulation supervisors will process UMW Alumni applications. Guest Patron memberships may be purchased at the library Circulation Desk.

UMW BOOKSTORE 15% off in-store purchase of one regularly priced clothing or insignia item with presentation of an alumni identification card (some exceptions apply). Watch the Bookstore website for additional savings throughout the year.
JAMES MONROE MUSEUM AND MEMORIAL LIBRARY Alumni receive a 20% discount off James Monroe Museum admission with the presentation of an alumni identification card.
GARI MELCHERS HOME AND STUDIO AT BELMONT Alumni receive a 20% discount off admission to Belmont with the presentation of an alumni identification card.
UMW ATHLETICS Alumni receive a discounted alumni admission rate to UMW home basketball games with the presentation of an alumni identification card. All other UMW Athletics games are free and open to the public.
UMW THEATRE Alumni receive $2 discount on all UMW Theatre performances with the presentation of an alumni identification card.
UNIVERSITY TENNIS CENTER Alumni receive a 50% discount on tennis center court rental rates with the presentation of an alumni identification card.
UMW DINING Alumni are welcome to eat in the Dining Hall of the University Center (4th floor) at the faculty rate, with the presentation of an alumni identification card. The dining hall is open weekdays between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. whenever the university is open for regular class sessions. The Dining Room closes during Fall, Winter, and Spring breaks. CAREER SERVICES Alumni have lifetime access to services offered by the UMW Center for Career and Professional Development, free of charge.
ONLINE COMMUNITY Alumni are eligible to create an account in the alumni online community. As a member of the online community, alumni can search for friends and classmates, upload photos, and submit announcements.
ALUMNI FITNESS CENTER MEMBERSHIPS Campus Recreation values the Mary Washington community and offers memberships to UMW alumni. Stay involved with UMW and all the wonderful changes happening in the Fitness Center and within Campus Recreation. With an Alumni membership, you will have access to the Fitness Center, group fitness classes, the Goolrick locker rooms, the Goolrick basketball courts, personal training sessions, and more! Each alumnus is welcome to sign up a +1, whose membership also will have alumni pricing (see pricing options below). Please note: your +1 must be 18 years or older.
