The 1908 Society and Reunion Giving
Reunion Giving is an opportunity to give back to your alma mater to show your appreciation for the experiences you had as a student. Many alumni reaffirm their loyalty to Mary Washington by making a “stretch” gift (larger than normal), and classmates who have never given, or who have given infrequently, may be motivated to participate as part of the celebration. During the All-Class Party on Saturday evening, we will recognize the class with the highest giving participation and the class with the highest class gift.
Because the 1908 Society is composed of all classes who have celebrated a 50th reunion, and each of these classes is invited back to every reunion, the reunion giving numbers are limited to new gifts made within that fiscal year (July 1, 2023–June 30, 2024 for Reunion Weekend 2024). If you have named UMW in your estate plans, be sure to let us know! Estate pledges can be counted toward Reunion Giving.
