Reunion Weekend is a family affair, so bring your kids and watch them explore the campus you once called home. Below are just some of the activities typically offered throughout the weekend--check back for details as we finalize our schedule.
Welcome bags just for kids--with fun items like small toys, crayons, and glow bracelets. Kiddos also can stop by the name tag station to make and decorate their own sticker name tag with markers, UMW-themed stickers, and more.
Children's Playtime on Ball Circle, featuring an inflatable moon bounce and slide, face painting, lawn games, a cotton candy machine, and much more. This coincides with the Reunion Picnic, so cookout-style food, including child-friendly options, will be available with purchase of a picnic ticket.
Scavenger Hunt! Can you find a portrait of Mary Washington? Get the autograph of an alum from 1980? Find three buildings that start with the letter M? Find all the items on the list and turn it in at the Cedric Rucker University Center to get a prize.
Trolley ride to legendary Carl's Ice Cream...share your favorite UMW-era dessert with a new generation!
Creative activities--Sidewalk chalk at the Fountain, Mary Washington-themed activity pages for coloring and word puzzles. Need to take a break and cool off? We'll have a table set up in the shade with these and more quiet activities, too.
Esports Lounge--Traveling with tweens or teens? UMW's Esports Lounge is a fun, supervised space for kids ages 12 and up to hang out and play video games while you enjoy other activities.
Family Matinee Movie in the Monroe Hall lecture hall. Childcare services will be
provided here so adults can attend other events--such as the Virginia
Wine, Beer, & Cider Tasting just upstairs--on their own.
