CCI@UMW is a brand new and first service dog club to the campus scene. Our mission is to educate the University of Mary Washington campus and Fredericksburg community about training service dogs. We seek to raise and train puppies with the purpose of becoming service dogs for people with disabilities through the national organization, Canine Companions for Independence. We hold a partnership with the Center for Honor, Leadership and Service, the Office of Residence Life and Commuter Student Services, and Canine Companions for Independence.
